BACKGROUND/AIM: Self-efficacy for coping with cancer plays a critical role in influencing psychological cancer-related outcomes, some studies suggested its role in enhancing or reducing the effects of psychological interventions in cancer patients. Reiki has recently been included among the efficacious complementary therapeutic intervention for cancer patients. PATIENTS AND METHODS: The present study evaluated the role of self-efficacy for coping with cancer as buffer of the Reiki treatment effects on cancer-related symptoms in a randomized controlled trial (intervention versus control group) of breast cancer patients (N=110) during the pre-surgery phase. RESULTS: Results showed that self-efficacy for coping with cancer can influence the effect of a Reiki treatment. Higher efficacious patients showed a more powerful effect of the Reiki intervention on both anxiety and mood than the low efficacious patients. 背景/目的： 面對癌症的自我效能在影響心理癌症相關結果中有著關鍵作用，一些研究表明在提高或降低癌症患 者心理介入效果方面發揮作用。靈氣最近被納入癌症患者的有效補充治療中。 患者和方法： 目前的研究評估了自我效能在面對癌症中，靈氣治療對癌症相關症狀有緩衝作用，在乳腺癌患者（N = 110）的隨機對照試驗（介入組與對照組）手術階段。 

結果： 結果顯示，對癌症的自我效能可以影響靈氣療法的效果。較高效的患者表現出靈氣干預對焦慮和情 緒的作用比低效的患者更強。 

結論： 從實踐的角度來看，這項研究為醫療保健專業人員提供了深刻的見解
